WHEREAS, on September 10, 2025, the City of Grand Island entered a Lease
Agreement with The Diamond Baseball League to provide public baseball entertainment at the
Ryder Park Legion Field; and
WHEREAS, The Diamond Baseball League has created a subsidiary company
specifically for the operation of the Team in the City of Grand Island know as Grand Island Family
Fun LLC, a Nebraska Company. Grand Island Family Fun, LLC, needs to be added to the Lease
Agreement.
WHEREAS, the terms of the Lease Agreement remain unchanged.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is, authorized and
directed to approve the First Amendment to the Ryder Park Lease Agreement adding Grand Island
Family Fun, LLC to the Lease Agreement.
