WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island issued a Request for Bids (RFB) for Lincoln
and George Park Parking Lot Asphalt Improvements; and
WHEREAS, two (2) requests for bids were received and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, J.I.L. Asphalt Paving Co., from Grand Island, Nebraska, submitted a
proposal for such Asphalt Improvements in accordance with the Request for Bids; and
WHEREAS,a contract amount of$129,079.00 has been proposed for the Lincoln and
George Park Parking Lot Asphalt Improvements; and
WHEREAS, such Asphalt Improvements will be funded through KENO Funds.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the bid from J.I.L. Asphalt Paving Co.,from
Grand Island,Nebraska for Lincoln and George Park Parking Lot Asphalt Improvements for a total
cost of$129,079.00 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and designee are, and shall be,
authorized to execute all contracts and agreements necessary to effect the purpose of this Resolution.
