WHEREAS, the Parks& Recreation Department would like to purchase property
adjacent to Cedar Hills Park; and
WHEREAS, the property is located at 2915 South North Road in Grand Island
Nebraska; and
WHEREAS,the sellers did an appraisal of the property and was valued at$328,000;
and
WHEREAS, the sellers agreed to a purchase price of$295,000 plus closing costs.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the purchase of 2915 South North Road in the
amount of$295,000, and associated closing costs.
