WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island entrance sign located at Hwy 281 and Wildwood
Drive was damaged by a vehicle on or around January 4, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the City is request for proposals for the repair of said sign; and
WHEREAS, the City received one (1) proposal from Mayhew Signs for $74,590.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the repair of the Grand Island entrance sign be
awarded to Mayhew Signs in the amount of$74,590 is hereby approved.
