WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island issued a Bid for Improvements to the Train
Area in Stolley Park for the Parks & Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, three (3) bids were received and reviewed; and
WHEREAS,Mid-Plains Construction of Grand Island,Nebraska,submitted a bid for
such Improvements to the Train Area in accordance in the amount of$2,784,000.00; and
WHEREAS,such Improvements will be funded through the Food and Beverage and
private donation proceeds.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the proposal from Mid-Plains Construction,
from Grand Island,Nebraska for the Improvements to the Train Area in Stolley Park for a total cost
of$2,784,000.00 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and designee are, and shall be,
authorized to execute all contracts and agreements necessary to effect the purpose of this Resolution.
