WHEREAS, the City Of Grand Island invited proposals for Ultraviolet (UV)
Disinfection System for the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, on March 10, 2026 proposals were received, reviewed, and
evaluated in accordance with established criteria in the RFP; and
WHEREAS, Trojan Technologies Corp. of London, Ontario submitted a proposal
in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals and all statutory requirements
contained therein and the City Procurement Code with a cost of$1,205,115.00; and
WHEREAS, Trojan Technologies Corp. was the sole submitter it is also requested
they be designated as the sole source provider for Trojan UV systems, parts, materials, and
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the proposal of Trojan Technologies
Corp. and single designation of such vendor for UV systems, parts, materials, and service for the
Ultraviolet(UV) Disinfection System is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall
store, retain, and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the
same manner as contracts an agreements are retained.
