WHEREAS, on October 14, 2025 by Resolution 2025-350,the City Council of the
City of Grand Island awarded Nemaha Sports Construction,LLC from Lincoln,Nebraska, a bid in
the amount of$3,745,600.00, for Ryder Park Legion Baseball Field Improvements; and
WHEREAS, as the project progressed some changes were identified in the plans
to further enhance the project; and
WHEREAS, such changes have been incorporated into Change Order No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the changes will be funded through Food & Beverage Funds
21100003-9999; and
WHEREAS,the result of such changes will increase the contract amount by$520.35
for a revised contract amount of$3,746,120.35.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 between the City of Grand Island and Nemaha Sports
Construction,LLC from Lincoln,Nebraska to incorporate the change order in the amount of$520.35
for a revised contract amount of$3,746,120.35. Changes include:
