WHEREAS, the existing 2012 truck has approximately 116,255 miles and has
recently developed problems with the EGR system for the diesel engine; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nebraska Contract#16214 meets all requirements for the
Water Department vehicle; and
WHEREAS, specifications to replace unit#902 truck were prepared by Department
staff and a 2026 Ford F250 extended cab truck from Anderson Ford of Lincoln, Nebraska in the
amount of$83,784.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Water Department purchase a 2026 Ford
F250 extended cab truck from Anderson Ford of Lincoln,Nebraska in the amount of$83,784.00 is
hereby approved.
