WHEREAS, the City approved prior purchases of equipment, installation by, and
service work done by CEI Security& Sound at the Law Enforcement Center for several years; and
WHEREAS, the City has used the services of CEI Security & Sound for over 20
years,most recently with cameras and key FOB access control at City Hall and at the City Library;
and
WHEREAS, the Grand Island Police Department needs to install several security
cameras at the PD West Substation(Heartland Ag Building)which would tie into the current camera
and access control system in place at the Police Department; and
WHEREAS,the Grand Island Police Department wishes to designate CEI Security&
Sound as a single source provider for the police department for this camera installation project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, to designate CEI Security & Sound as a single
source provider for the Grand Island Police Department for security camera purchase and installation
at the PD West Substation, an off-site location.
