WHEREAS, the Grand Island Police Department utilized Sourcewell for a software
solution that covers policy and compliance management, workflow documentation, and training
content; and
WHEREAS, the City would like to expand PowerDMS by NEOGOV to offer these
services across the City; and
WHEREAS, Sourcewell contract A-36512 was awarded to PowerDMS by NEOGOV to
offer these services; and
WHEREAS, pricing for PowerDMS through October 2029 under this contract was
obtained; and
WHEREAS, the totals due are as follows: prorated January 2026 cost is $46,457.97,
October 2026 is$54,297.35,October 2027 is$56,670.90, October 2028 is$59,044.45 and October
2029 is $61,418.00; and
WHEREAS, City Administration recommends the purchase of the PowerDMS solution at
the above yearly pricing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the contract for PowerDMS by
NEOGOV, El Segundo, CA is hereby approved in the amounts as listed above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to sign the agreement for such purchase on behalf of the City of Grand Island and all other
necessary documents as required.
