WHEREAS, at the August 19, 2025, Council meeting, Groome Industrial Services
Group,was awarded the contact for the Precipitator,Bottom Ash and Boiler Industrial Cleaning-Fall
2025 Outage in the amount of$143,383.50; and
WHEREAS, additional work was required above the base hours for hydro blasting
and vacuum services; and
WHEREAS, these additions and modifications resulted in additional costs of
$33,681.90 for a final contract cost of$177,065.40.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that Change Order #1 with Groome Industrial
Services Group,in the total amount of$33,681.90,is approved,and the Mayor is hereby authorized
to sign the Change Order on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
