WHEREAS,the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing(formerly National Joint Powers
Alliance Buying Group (NJPA)) was utilized to secure competitive bids for one (1) 2025
International CV515 Chasis with John Bean Jetter for the Wastewater Division of the Public Works
Department; and
WHEREAS,the Sourcwell Contract No.032824-NVS was awarded to Navistar,Inc.
n/k/a International Motors,Inc.,LLC. d/b/a International Motors USA,LLC of Lisle,Illinois,with
Hansen International Truck, Inc. of Grand Island,Nebraska as the local dealer; and
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has recommended the purchase of a 2025
International CV515 Chasis with John Bean Jetter from Hansen International Truck,Inc. of Grand
Island,Nebraska for a purchase price of$209,757.00; and
WHEREAS,the funding for such vehicle is provided in the 2025/2026 budget.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the purchase of one (1) 2025 International
CV515 Chasis with John Bean Jetter from Hansen International Truck, Inc. of Grand Island,
Nebraska in the amount of$209,757.00 is hereby approved.
