WHEREAS,the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department of the City of
Grand Island budgeted for two (2) vehicles in the 2025/2026 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS,said vehicles,two(2)2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4WD Double
Cab Work Trucks, can be obtained from the 2025 State Contract Holder, Sid Dillon Ford, Inc. of
Wahoo,Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, purchasing the vehicle from the 2025 State Contract Holder meets all
statutory bidding requirements; and
WHEREAS,the funding for such vehicle is provided in the 2025/2026 budget.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the purchase of a two (2) 2026 Chevrolet
Silverado 3500HD 4WD Double Cab Work Trucks in the total amount of$117,598.00 from the
2025 State Contract Holder, Sid Dillon Ford, Inc. of Wahoo,Nebraska, is hereby approved.
