WHEREAS, on October 24, 2023, via Resolution No. 2023-271, City Council
approved an agreement with Olsson,Inc.of Grand Island,Nebraska in the amount of$78,400.00 for
Wastewater Treatment Plant UV Disinfection Upgrade; Project No. 2023-WWTP-1; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement is now being amended to allow for additional
design services,consisting of survey and scanning,project meetings,procurement assistance, final
process design,final Instrumentation and Controls design,final electrical design,and final structural
design; and
WHEREAS, such amendment is in the amount of $175,500.00, for a revised
agreement amount of$253,900.00; and
WHEREAS,Amendment No. 1 to the original agreement with Olsson,Inc.of Grand
Island, Nebraska is required to proceed with this project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that Amendment No. 1 with Olsson,Inc.of Grand
Island, Nebraska for engineering consulting services related to Wastewater Treatment Plant UV
Disinfection Upgrade; Project No. 2023-WWTP-1 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such amendment on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store,
retain,and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the same manner
as contracts and agreements are retained.
