WHEREAS,on March 22,2022,via Resolution No. 2022-76 the Grand Island City
Council approved entering into an agreement with Olsson, Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska in the
amount of$578,900.00 for Claude Road;Faidley Avenue to State Street;Project No.2022-P-4;and
WHEREAS,on March 12,2024,via Resolution No.2024-69.City Council approved
Amendment No.1, in the amount of$648,800.00, to the original agreement to include additional
design services,power line relocation,street lighting design,private utility coordination,stormwater
inspections, additional right-of-way acquisitions, replat of Kaaar Subdivision, and construction
services; and
WHEREAS,WHEREAS,on October 28,2025,City Council approved Amendment
No. 2 to allow for additional topographic survey, final roadway design on 13th Street from Claude
Road to Webb Road, utility coordination, right-of-way acquisition, public involvement/project
coordination, and bid phase services, in the amount of$262,700.00; and
WHEREAS,the original agreement is being further amended to allow for additional
topographic survey, final roadway design on State Street from Claude Road to Webb Road,utility
coordination, right-of-way acquisition, public involvement/project coordination, and bid phase
services; and.
WHEREAS, such amendment is in the amount of $310,800.00, for a revised
agreement amount of$1,801,200.00; and
WHEREAS,Amendment No.3 to the original agreement with Olsson,Inc.of Grand
Island,Nebraska is required to proceed with this project
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that Amendment No.3 with Olsson,Inc.of Grand
Island,Nebraska related to State Street/Diers Avenue Improvements;Project No.2026-P-1 is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such amendment on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store,
retain,and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the same manner
as contracts and agreements are retained.
