WHEREAS, on December 8, 2020, by Resolution 2020-314, the City of Grand
Island approved a contract with Landscapes Unlimited to manage the day-to-day operations of
the JackRabbit Run Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the current contract expires in November 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for
Management of JackRabbit Run Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, on September 4, 2025 one (1) request for proposal was received; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City
Attorney's office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the proposal from Landscapes Golf
Management from Lincoln, Nebraska of JackRabbit Run Golf Course, is hereby accepted and
approved as the lowest responsive proposal submitted, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreements on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
