WHEREAS, Sourcewell, formerly known as the National Joint Powers Alliance,
cooperative purchasing group was utilized to a secure competitive bid for one(1)2026 International
MV607 SBA with spreader box by the Streets Division of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, Sourcewell Contract No. 032824-NVS was awarded to Navistar, Inc.
and authorized Hansen International of Grand Island,Nebraska to offer said contract pricing to the
City of Grand Island,Nebraska; and
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has recommended the purchase of one
(1) 2026 International MV607 SBA with spreader box from Hansen International Truck, Inc. of
Grand Island,Nebraska for a net purchase price of$145,948.81.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that a purchase order and subsequent payment for
one (1) 2026 International MV607 SBA with spreader box from Hansen International Truck, Inc.
of Grand Island,Nebraska is hereby approved.
