WHEREAS, in August of 2023, City Council approved Management Operations of the
Heartland Public Shooting Park to Hornady Manufacturing; and
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2025 by Resolution #2025-84 City Council approved that
Hornady manage the 2024-25 approved capital projects and allow for reimbursements to Hornady
for expenses related to the capital projects; and
WHEREAS,City Council approved four(4)capital improvement projects for the Heartland
Public Shooting Park in fiscal 2025-26; and
WHEREAS, City Administration recommends that Hornady continue to manage the
approved capital projects and allow for reimbursement to Hornady for expenses related to the capital
proj ects; and
WHEREAS, the City Finance Department will review eligible reimbursements and
reimbursements will be limited to the amount approved in the City 2025-26 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that Council approve that Hornady continue to manage
the capital projects budgeted and allow for reimbursement to Hornady for expenses related to the
capital projects approved in the 2025-26 City budget.
