WHEREAS,on May 13,2025 by Resolution 2025-160,the City Council of the City
of Grand Island awarded Diamond Engineering Co. from Grand Island, Nebraska, a bid in the
amount of$198,299.50, for Cedar Hills Trail Construction; and
WHEREAS, during construction of the project credits for aggregate and seeding
were found and a need for additional excavation; and
WHEREAS, such changes have been incorporated into Change Order No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the changes will be funded through account 10055002-85213; and
WHEREAS,the result of such changes will increase the contract amount by$455.00
for a revised contract amount of$198,754.50.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 between the City of Grand Island and Diamond Engineering
Co. from Grand Island, Nebraska for project credits for aggregate and seeding and for additional
excavation set out as follows:
1. Additional Excavation increase $4,050.00
2. Aggregate Surfacing credit .decrease $-80.00
3. Hydro-Seeding credit ..decrease $-3,515.00
