WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska was awarded a $339,374 as part of the
United States Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block
Grant(CDBG) Program; and
WHEREAS,City Council approved the 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan which identified The
Emergency Payment Program as an approved program to utilize CDBG Funds; and
WHEREAS,YMCA of Grand Island was allocated$39,866 of CDBG funding to complete a
building rehabilitation project on the current facilities.
WHEREAS, an amendment to the sub-recipient agreement with YMCA of grand Island to
for an additional $10,629.29 for a total sub-recipient agreement award of$50,496.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that The City of Grand Island,Nebraska is hereby
authorized to enter into a Sub-Recipient Agreement with YMCA of Grand Island and the Mayor is
hereby authorized and directed to execute such contracts.
