WHEREAS,on March 25,2025 by Resolution 2025-92,the City Council of the City
of Grand Island awarded Eocene Environmental Group,Inc. from West Des Moines,Iowa,a bid in
the amount of$45,540.00,to conduct a Tree Inventory for the City of Grand Island Park Facilities;
and
WHEREAS, an additional 1,294 trees were inventoried; and
WHEREAS,the additional trees inventoried has been incorporated into Change Order
No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the additional trees inventoried will be funded through the IRA
Federal Tree Grant; and
WHEREAS,the result will increase the contract amount by $8,928.60 for a revised
contract amount of$54,468.60.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 between the City of Grand Island and Eocene
Environmental Group, Inc. from West Des Moines, Iowa to provide additional tree inventoried set
out as follows:
1. Additional trees inventoried .increase $8,928.60
