10/14/2025 Resolutions 2025-345 RESOLUTION 2025-345 WHEREAS,the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for Tree Trimming Contract 2026-TT-1, according to plans and specifications on file with the Utilities Department; and WHEREAS,on September 30,2025,bids were received,opened and reviewed;and WHEREAS,Leetch Tree Service,LLC,of Grand Island,Nebraska,submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of$202,636.00 for Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 26, 38, 41, and 42; and WHEREAS,the bid of Leetch Tree Service,LLC,is best and lowest value per section and total for the eight(8) recommended tree trimming sections. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the bid of Leetch Tree Service, LLC, in the amount of$202,636.00 for Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 26, 38, 41, and 42, is hereby approved as the lowest responsible bid. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid submitted by Leetch Tree Service, LLC,of Grand Island,Nebraska for Tree Trimming Contract 2026-TT-1 to be completed by August 31, 2026 is hereby approved: Leetch Tree Service,LLC Section Grand Island,NE 4 $25,562.00 5 $35,500.00 8 $29,625.00 9 $31,187.00 26 $31,150.00 38 $12,187.00 41 $28,500.00 42 $8,925.00 Total for 8 Sections Bid $202,636.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island and to take all other actions necessary to effect the purpose of this resolution.
