WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City Of Grand
Island has issued a Certificate of Completion for Project No. 2025-AC-1, Asphalt Resurfacing,
certifying that Gary Smith Construction Co., Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska, under contract, has
completed the asphalt resurfacing in the total amount of$714,836.10; and
WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $28,057.80, as detailed below,
resulting in a total project cost of$742,893.90; and
Olsson, Inc. — Pavement Cores &Quality Assurance $ 1,698.75
Grand Island Independent- Advertising $ 74.00
City of Grand Island Public Works Engineering Services $ 26,285.05
Additional Project Costs' $ 28,057.80
WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the
acceptance of the project; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City
Engineer/Public Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion,
for Project No. 2025-AC-1, Asphalt Resurfacing, in the total amount of$742,893.90, is hereby
confirmed.
