WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City Of Grand
Island has issued a Certificate of Completion for Claude Road- 13th Street to State Street; Project
No. 2022-P-4, certifying that The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska,
under contract, has completed the work required by the contract at a total cost of
$4,4,488,420.98; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred additional Project costs in the amount of
$1,894,650.88, as detailed below, resulting in a total Project cost of$6,383,071.86; and
City of Grand Island Public Works- Engineering $ 70,436.24
Olsson, Inc.- Engineering $1,128,323.16
City of Grand Island Utilities- Install/Relocate $ 204,295.88
Grand Island Independent- Advertising $ 273.60
Hall County Register of Deeds- Filing $ 182.00
Hall County Public Works- Corner Ties $ 600.00
RICHARD A CASH LLC- ROW & Easement $ 53,340.00
STAAB BROTHERS PARTNERSHIP- ROW & Easement $ 279,170.00
T1MM AUTUMN PARK, LLC- Easement $ 12,650.00
3650 WEST 13TH STREET LLC- Easement $ 133,050.00
CORMAN PROPERTIES, LLC- Easement $ 2,330.00
MCCLOUD SUPER 8 MOTEL INC- ROW & Easement $ 10,000.00
Additional Costs= $1,894,650.88
WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the
confirmation of the Certificate of Completion and acceptance of the Project as complete; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City
Engineer/Public Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion,
for Claude Road- 13th Street to State Street; Project No. 2022-P-4, in the total amount of
$6,383,071.86, is hereby confirmed and such project is hereby accepted as complete.
