WHEREAS,the City Engineering/Public Works Director for the City of Grand Island
issued a Certificate of Final Completion for Elks Parking Lot Improvements;Project No.2025-PL-1
certifying that The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island,Nebraska,under contract,has
completed such project for the total construction amount of$170,902.30; and
WHEREAS,the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of
the project; and
WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $5,244.40, as shown
The Grand Island Independent- Advertising $ 76.00
City of Grand Island Public Works- Engineering $ 3,288.40
Olsson, Inc.- Testing $ 1,880.00
Additional Costs= $ 5,244.40
WHEREAS,the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City Engineer/Public
Works Director, and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Certificate of Final Completion for Elks
Parking Lot Improvements; Project No. 2025-PL-1, is hereby confirmed, for a total project cost of
$176,146.70.
