WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island has had a contract with Grow Grand Island,
Inc. since 2016 for purposes of engaging in community improvement and development activities;
and
WHEREAS,the current contract is set to expire on October 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City and Grow Grand Island, Inc. have agreed to a renewal of the
contract for an initial term of four years, plus one two-year extension and additional terms and
conditions; and
WHEREAS, the initial term of the new contract will be from October 1, 2025 to
September 30, 2029.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter
into and execute a contract with Grow Grand Island, Inc. on the terms set forth herein.
