WHEREAS,on December 5,2024,via Resolution No.2023-312,the City of Grand
Island awarded The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska the bid in the
amount of$4,338,004.15 for Claude Road- 13th Street to State Street; Project No. 2022-P-4; and
WHEREAS, on December 3, 2024, via Resolution No. 2024-324, City Council
approved Change Order No.1 to the project for a contract increase of$30,430.00,resulting in a total
contract amount of$4,368,434.15; and
WHEREAS,to rectify quantities Change Order No. 2 is requested; and
WHEREAS,such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No.2 for
a contract increase of$119,986.82, resulting in a revised contract amount of$4,488,420.97.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 2, in the amount of$119,986.82,between the City of Grand
Island and The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska to provide the
modifications.
