WHEREAS, the Grand Island Utilities Department has utilized APX Inc. since
2015 for the management of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) associated with our Wind
and Solar assets; and
WHEREAS, APX Inc. has offered a reduced fee schedule in recognition of the
City's continued partnership and consistent REC activity; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the public interest to reduce
administrative costs associated with REC services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the reduced fee schedule from APX
Inc. is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City
of Grand Island.
