WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for Kimball Reservoir
Roof Replacement,according to plans and specifications on file with the Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, on July 8, 2025, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, Martino Commercial Roofing of Omaha, Nebraska, submitted a bid
in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other
statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $ 81,088.00 which
includes a 30-year watertight warranty with a 40-year membrane warranty; and
WHEREAS, the bid of Martino Commercial Roofing, is less than the estimate for
Kimball Reservoir Roof Replacement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the bid of Martino Commercial Roofing
of Omaha, Nebraska, in the amount of$ 81,088.00, for Kimball Reservoir Roof Replacement, is
hereby approved as the lowest responsible bid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute such contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island and to take all other actions necessary
to effect the purpose of this resolution.
