08/05/2025 Resolutions 2025-250 RESOLUTION 2025-250 WHEREAS,on December 17,2024,via Resolution No.2024-336,City Council approved the Planning Agreement for Fiscal Year 2025; and WHEREAS, the approval of such agreement was with the maximum Federal Transit Administration, Section 5305 Funding, at 80% and a not to exceed amount of$51,927.00 for FY 2025 (July 1,2024—June 30,2025)eligible costs and the local 20%funds would be the City's obligation not to exceed $12,981.75 and can be part of inkind services (staff time & expenses); and WHEREAS,Federal regulations require the City be notified of any changes to the Planning Agreement for Fiscal Year 2025 relating to the Federal Award Identification; and WHEREAS,on March 11,2025,via Resolution No.2025-81 approved Supplemental No. 1 to the Planning Agreement for Fiscal Year 2025,making it clear that the State and City may be required to report specific information as part of a single audit due to receipt of Federal funds; and WHEREAS, Supplemental No. 2 is necessary to transfer the balance of$81,758.39 from FY2024 to the FY2025 amount of$51,927.00, resulting of an increase in federal funding for the entire agreement to $133,685.39; and WHEREAS,all terms and conditions of the original agreement will remain in full force and effect. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign Supplemental Agreement No.2 to Agreement No.PI2458,Control No. 01050B,Project No.NE-X80(030)between the City and the State.
