07/22/2025 Resolutions 2025-240 RESOLUTION 2023-240 WHEREAS, an Ingress/Egress easements was dedicated with the Trinty Heights Subdivision to provide access between the subdivision and Blessed Sacrament Church: and WHEREAS,the developers wish to vacate that easement and replace it with a similar easement in a different location to accommodate planned development; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 22, 2025, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of a ten(10)foot wide Ingress/Egress easement tract in part of Lot three(3)and Lot four(4)of Trinity Heights Third Subdivision in the City of Grand Island,Hall County, Nebraska; the boundary of the utility easement and right-of-way tract being more particularly described as follows: A ten(10)foot easement of ingress and egress, more particularly described as the North five (5)feet of Lot 3 and the South five (5)feet of Lot 4,Trinity Heights Third Subdivision to the City of Grand Island, Hall County,Nebraska. The above-described easement and right-of-way containing a combined total of 967.4 square feet more or less as shown on the plat dated 7/09/2025, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire an Ingress and Egress easement from Mesner Development Company on,over and below the tract of land described herein and as depicted on Exhibit A hereto for one dollar ($1.00) and mutual benefits received. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and designee are hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose of this Resolution.
