WHEREAS,removal and relocation of the billboard on the west side of Locust Street,
south of Bismark Road/Anna Street intersection is required by the City of Grand Island for the
construction of South Locust Street Improvements- Fonner Park Road to 2nd Street; Project No.
2021-P-6; and
WHEREAS,the agreement for compensation,in the amount of$79,494.00, of such
has been reviewed and approved by the City Legal Department.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to compensate The Lamar Company,LLC for the removal and relocation of the billboard
on the west side of Locust Street, south of Bismark Road/Anna Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
