WHEREAS, a temporary construction easement is required by the City of Grand
Island, from property described below for the construction of South Locust Street Improvements-
Fonner Park Road to 2nd Street; Project No. 2021-P-6:

NEBRASKA AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE EAST LINE
OF THE EXISTING SOUTH LOCUST STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
AND THE NORTH LINE OF SAID TRACT; THENCE ALONG
SAID NORTH LINE ON AN ASSUMED BEARING OF
S89°26'17"E A DISTANCE OF 1.20 FEET TO THE POINT OF
INTERSECTION OF THE EAST LINE OF THE NEW SOUTH

OF INTERSECTION OF SAID SOUTH LINE AND THE EAST
LINE OF THE EXISTING SOUTH LOCUST STREET RIGHT-OF-

WHEREAS, such Temporary Construction easement has been reviewed and
approved by the City Legal Department.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA,that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to compensate the affected property owner for the Temporary Construction easement on
the above described tract of land.
