WHEREAS, an application was filed by Sajan Baniya dba Everest Indian Kitchen,
316 North Pine Street, Grand Island,Nebraska, for a Class "C" Liquor License; and
WHEREAS,a public hearing notice was published in the Grand Island Independent
as required by state law on March 29, 2025; such publication cost being $9.60; and
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held on April 8,2025 for the purpose of discussing
such liquor license application.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the City of Grand Island hereby recommends
approval of the above-identified liquor license application contingent upon final inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Grand Island hereby recommends
approval of Sajan Baniya, 4829 10th Avenue, Kearney,Nebraska for liquor manager.
