WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island has financial resources allocated to multiple
financial institutions; and
WHEREAS, changes to staffing that require people to be added and removed from
accounts happen periodically that require administrative paperwork to be signed; and
WHEREAS, sometimes said paperwork requires the Mayor signature to authorize a
new Finance Director or additional staff member to be added; and
WHEREAS, in order to complete said paperwork authorization and signatures for
current and future paperwork may be needed/required; and
WHEREAS, that such authorization be granted to current and future Mayors and
Finance Directors to allow administrative signatures on paperwork as required be approved.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor and/or Finance Director is hereby
authorized to execute any necessary paperwork on behalf of the City of Grand Island which may
permit additions, deletions, or other changes needed to allow all necessary staff access to financial
and banking resources required to perform their essential job duties.
