WHEREAS, on July 25, 2023, via Resolution No. 2023-175, City Council approved the
Planning Agreement for Fiscal Year 2024; and
WHEREAS, the approval of such agreement was with the maximum Federal Transit
Administration, Section 5305 Funding, at 80% and a not to exceed amount of$40,092.00 for FY 2024
(July 1,2023—June 30,2024)eligible costs and the local 20%funds would be the City's obligation not to
exceed $10,023.00 and can be part of inkind services (staff time & expenses); and
WHEREAS, On September 26, 2023, via Resolution No. 2023-234, City Council
approved Supplemental No. 1 to the Planning Agreement for Fiscal Year 2024, such amendment
allowed for the movement of funds from the original agreement to the current agreement
• Agreement No. PI2212, Control No. 01050, Project No.NE-X80(028)remaining federal
funds in the amount of $52,714.80 will be moved to the current Agreement No. PI2371,
Control No. 01050A, Project No. NE-X80(029); and
WHEREAS,Federal regulations require the City be notified of any changes to the Planning
Agreement for Fiscal Year 2024 relating to the Federal Award Identification; and
WHEREAS, Supplemental No. 2 is necessary to make it clear that the State and City may
be required to report specific information as part of a single audit because of receipts of Federal funds,
total dollars in the agreement, of$116,008.50, remain unchanged.; and
WHEREAS, all terms and conditions of the original agreement and the Supplemental
Agreement No. 1 will remain in full force and effect.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign Supplemental
Agreement No.2 to Agreement No. PI2371,Control No. 01050A,Project No.NE-X80(029)between the
City and the State.
