WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for furnishing and
delivering Non-Hazardous Glycerin-Based Carbon Source for the Wastewater Division of the
Public Works Department, according to specifications on file with the Public Works Department;
and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2024, bids were received, opened and reviewed;
and all bids were submitted in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and
specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein; and
WHEREAS, Momar, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid in the amount of
$3.26 per gallon; and
WHEREAS, the contract term will be January 1, 2025 through September 30,
2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the purchase of Non-Hazardous Glycerin-Based
Carbon Source for the Wastewater Treatment Plant from Momar, Inc. in the amount of$3.26 per
gallon is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store,
retain, and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the same
manner as contracts and agreements are retained.
