WHEREAS, on March 12, 2024, via Resolution 2024-66, the City of Grand Island
awarded the contract with County Line Striping of Grand Island, Nebraska in the amount of
$68,155.00 for Annual Symbol & Intersection Markings 2024; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional line item quantities are required
for the 2024 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No. 1;
and
WHEREAS,the City's General Specifications allow for revisions in work quantities
through Section 2.02 Interpretation of Quantities in Bid Forms and Section 4.03 Increased or
Decreased Quantities of Work; and
WHEREAS, the result of such modifications will increase the contract amount by
$7,500 for a revised contract price of$75,655.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is,authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 between the City of Grand Island and Straight-Line Striping,
Inc. of Grand Island,Nebraska to provide the additional work.
