WHEREAS,permanent drainage easements are required by the City of Grand Island
for Tri Street Drainage Improvements; Project No. 2023-D-1, from property described as follows:

Gaylord A Martens CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA,
CONTAINING 505 SQ. FT.,MORE OR LESS.
A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN LOT 12, PALU
SUBDIVISION, IN THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL
COUNTY, NEBRASKA, BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
REFERRING TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF.SAID LOT 12;
THENCE NOO°23'09"W (ASSUMED BEARING) ON THE EAST
LINE OF SAID LOT 12, A DISTANCE OF 37.66 FEET TO THE
Huff Properties, LLC POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N89°09'55"W, A DISTANCE
OF 5.00 FEET; THENCE NOO°23'09"W, PARALLEL WITH AND
5.00 FEET DISTANT FROM SAID EAST LINE,A DISTANCE OF
5.00 FEET;THENCE S89°09'55"E,A DISTANCE OF 5.00 FEET TO
SAID EAST LINE;THENCE S00°23'09"E ON SAID EAST LINE,A
DISTANCE OF 5.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
CONTAINING 25 SQ. FT.,MORE OR LESS.
WHEREAS,an agreement for each permanent drainage easement has been reviewed
and approved by the City Legal Department.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to enter into the Agreements for the permanent drainage easements on the above
described tracts of land.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreements on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store,
retain,and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the same manner
as contacts and agreements are retained.
