We added 2 new Head of Household accounts this past quarter between January 1 and March 31, 2022 and 13 cardholders were modified from other borrower types due to moving/change of address. This results in a net gain of 15 accounts from the previous report of 1,161 HCH accounts. Our automated reporting of household cards is based on one member of each household manually coded as “head of household” no matter how many in the household have cards. The Grand Island Public Library has provided Makerspace, Homeschooling, and Spring Break Programs including Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Celebrations for children as well as tween/teen programming. The library offers regular Story Times, Teen Library Corps-TLC teen board, Adult Book Club, Bygone Book Club, and Hall County Heritage Hour. The library continues to promote that Hall County residents can get their library card for free. Check out the many resources available from www.gilibrary.org. We have also added a new database called Alldata for car repair that may be used inside the library, new makerspace equipment for digitizing old VHS to digital formats, digital media equipment, and patrons may now check out video games.
