Staff Contact: Grand Island Regular Meeting - 5/21/2018 Page 29 / 32 Library Board Monday, May 21, 2018 Regular Meeting Item E1 Discussion of Revision to Policy on Smoking Current policy indicates that during library programs conducted outside, our exterior smoking area will be designated as non-smoking. This should be sufficient enforcement as Board discussion continues on possible revisions to policy and as operational changes are made to the exterior seating. Referral to committee is recommended after this month's discussion with a goal of policy revision in June for the remainder of the Summer Reading Program or in July prior to commencement of the renovation project.
