Improvement Plan. (C-03-2014GI)

consisting of 2.077 acres and (2 Lots).
6.Final Plat – Copper Creek Estates Sixth Subdivision – located west of

January 8, 2014
The meeting of the Regional Planning Commission was held Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in
the Community Meeting Room - City Hall – Grand Island, Nebraska. Notice of this meeting
appeared in the "Grand Island Independent" December 28, 2013.

1.Call to order.
Chairman O’Neill called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
O’Neill stated that this was a public meeting subject to the open meetings laws
of the State of Nebraska. He noted that the requirements for an open meeting
were posted on the wall in the room and easily accessible to anyone who may be
interested in reading them.
2. Minutes of December 4, 2013 meeting.

A motion was made by Bredthauer to approve the meeting minutes and
seconded by Hayes to approve the Minutes of the December 4, 2013 meeting as
mailed.
The motion carried with 10 members present and 7 voting in favor (O’Neill
Ruge, Reynolds, Haskins and Snodgrass) and 3 members present abstaining
(McCarty, Connick and Vincent).
Chairman O’Neill has the board introduce themselves as there are two new
members; Craig Vincent from Grand Island who replaced Scott Eriksen and
Terry Connick from Hall County who replaced John Amick.
3.Request Time to Speak.
4.Discussion – Street Standards.
Nabity reviewed the street standards Public Works has proposed for the future
of Grand Island streets.
5.Discussion – Hazard Mitigation Plan update.
Jon Rosenenlund discussed the status of the Hazard Mitigation plan.
6.Planning Director’s Report

RESOLUTION 2013-195
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 2013 One and Six Year Street
Improvement Plan on March 12, 2013 by Resolution No. 2013-701; and
WHEREAS, construction of One and Six Year Street Improvement Project No.
M-310(624) has been moved to the 2013 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the Nebraska Board of Classifications and Standards requires a
Notification of Revision of One-Year Plan (Form 10) to be submitted prior to a project moving
up to the One-Year Plan; and
WHEREAS, this Council has deteimined that the Notification of Revision of
One-Year Plan as set out in Attachments "1" and "2" is to be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
