A - SUBMITTAL OF REQUESTS FOR FUTURE ITEMS
Individuals who have appropriate items for City Council consideration should complete the Request for Future
Agenda Items form located at the Information Booth. If the issue can be handled administratively without Council
action, notification will be provided. If the item is scheduled for a meeting or study session, notification of the date
will be given.
B - RESERVE TIME TO SPEAK ON AGENDA ITEMS
This is an opportunity for individuals wishing to provide input on any of tonight's agenda items to reserve time to
speak. Please come forward, state your name and address, and the Agenda topic on which you will be speaking.
MAYOR COMMUNICATION
This is an opportunity for the Mayor to comment on current events, activities, and issues of interest to the community.

Subject: Council Retreat
Attached is the agenda for the Saturday’s City Council Retreat. Later this
week all Council Members will be given a notebook with background
information on each of the items listed on the agenda. In the mean time,
please consider the following in preparation of the Retreat:
· The retreat will take place in a casual environment and will be
informal in nature; therefore, casual dress is encouraged.
· Council Members should begin thinking of goals that they would like
to see attained in the future.
· Each member will be asked to provide the top five goals they would
like to see the City to achieve over the next year.
· Council Members should formulate ideas concerning the ½ cent sales
tax as we will be formulating the possible ballot language at the
Retreat.
· If there is a topic that a Council Member would like to see discussed
at the retreat please contact me ASAP so we can include it in the
packet.
· The Retreat will take place at Crane Meadows Nature Center, which is
just south of the Interstate 80, Alda exit 305.
· The Retreat is scheduled to start at 8 AM and should conclude before
3 PM.
