03/12/2024 Resolutions 2024-78R E S O L U T I O N 2024-78 WHEREAS, a permanent drainage easement is required by the City of Grand Island for Claude Road; Faidley Avenue to State Street; Project No. 2022-P-4, from property described as follows: Owner A PERMANENT DRAINAGE EASEMENT CONSISTIlVG OF PART OF LOT 1 OF MCCOY MEADOWS SECOND SUBDNISION, CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1, SAID POINT ALSO BEING ON THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY Timm Autumn Park LINE OF STATE STREET AND THE POINT OF BEGINNING; LLC � THENCE ON AN ASSUMED BEARING OF S89°59'36"W ALONG SAID NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE A DISTANCE OF 68.50 FEET; THENCE N00°00'24"E A DISTANCE OF 15.00 FEET; THENCE N89°59'36"E A DISTANCE OF 68.34 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE S00°36'30"E ALONG SAID EAST LINE A DISTANCE OF 15.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID PERMANENT DRAINAGE EASEMENT CONTAINS 1,026 SQUARE FEET MORE OR LESS. Amount $2,060.00 Total= $2,060.00 WHEREAS, an agreement for the permanent drainage easement has been reviewed and approved by the City Legal Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into the Agreement for the permanent drainage easement on the above described tract of land. � BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store, retain, and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the same manner as contracts and agreements are retained.
