WHEREAS, the National Joint Powers Alliance Buying Group, now known as
Sourcewell, was utilized to secure competitive bids for one (1) 2025 Model HV607 International
Dump Truck for the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the Sourcwell Contract No. 060920-NV S was awarded to Navistar, Inc.
dba International Truck, which has a local dealer, Hansen International Truck, Inc. in Grand Island,
Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has recommended the purchase of one (1)
2025 Model HV607 International Dump Truck from Hansen International Truck, Inc. of Grand
Island, Nebraska in the amount of $150,027.91; and
WHEREAS, the truck will be equipped with a 15' aluminum dump body, turnbuckles
on gate, air tailgate latch, LED lights, PTO, and telescoping hoist.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the purchase of one (1) 2025 Model HV607
International Dump Truck from Hansen International Truck, Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska in the
amount of $150,027.91 is hereby approved.
