WHEREAS, the City Engineering/Public Warks Director for the City of Grand Island issued
a Certificate of Final Completion for Lift Station No. 1 Rehabilitation; Project No. 2022-5-2 certifying that
The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska, under contract, has completed such
project for the total construction amount of $113,539.65; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of the

WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City Engineer/Public
Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion for Lift Station No. l
Rehabilitation; Project No. 2022-5-2, in the total amount of $172,399.49 is hereby confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Park Department will reimburse the Public Works
Department a total of $28,234.88 due to the demolition of an existing building as part of this project.
