04/12/2022 Resolutions 2022-95R E S O L U T I O N 2022-95
WHEREAS, on April 14, 2021, via Resolution No.2020-95, the City of Grand Island
awarded Sampson Construction Co., Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska the bid in the amount of
$3,454,000.00 for Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory, Operations Control Center, and
Administrative Building Renovation; Project No. 2017-WWTP-2; and
WHEREAS, on September 28, 2021, via Resolution No. 2021-254, City Council
approved Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,118.00 to address several revisions to the project.
Change Order No. resulted in a revised contract amount of $3,458,118.00; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to rectify final quantities to complete such project; and
WHEREAS, such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No. 2;
and
WHEREAS, the result of such change order is $(2,262.00), resulting in a revised
contract amount of $3,455,856.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 2, at a reduction of $2,262.00) to the original contract,
between the City of Grand Island and Sampson Construction Co., Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska.
