11/09/2021 Resolutions 2021-303WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island from Bosselman Pump & Pantry, Inc., to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including power lines; and RESOLUTION 2021-303 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 9, 2021, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of a Ten (10.0) foot wide easement and right-of-way tract located through a part of Lot One (1), Bosselman Crossing Subdivision, Lot Two (2), Bosselman Crossing Subdivision, and Lot Three (3), King's Crossing Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, and more particularly described as follows: The easterly ten (10.0) feet and the northerly ten (10.0) feet of Lot One (1), and the northerly ten (10.0) feet of Lot Two (2), Bosselman Crossing Subdivision and the northerly ten (10.0) feet of Lot Three (3), King's Crossing Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. The above-described easement and right-of-way containing a combined total of .21 acres, more or less as shown on the plat dated 9/9/2021, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Bosselman Pump & Pantry, Inc., on the above- described tract of land.
