RESOLUTION 2021-240
WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island from
PCJV, LLC, to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and
operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including power lines; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 28, 2021, for the purpose of
discussing the proposed acquisition of a Fifteen (15.0) foot wide easement located through Lot Three
(3), Block Two (2), Prairie Commons Third Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, Hall County,
Nebraska, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Three (3), Block two (2), Prairie Commons
Third Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hal1 County, Nebraska; thence easterly,
along the southeriy line of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2), a distance of forly-nine
(49.0) feet to the ACTLTAL Point of Beginning; thence northerly and perpendicular to
the southerly line of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2), a distance of fifteen (15.0) feet;
thence easterly and parallel with the southerly line of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2),
a distance of fifteen (15.0) feet; thence southerly and perpendicular to the southerly line
of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2), a distance of fifteen (15.0) feet to a point on the
southerly line of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2); thence westerly along the southerly
line of said Lot Three (3), Block Two (2), a distance of fifteen (15.0) feet to the said
Point of Beginning.
The above-described easement and right-of-way conta.ining a total of .005 acres, rnore or
less as shown on the plat dated 8/31/2021, marked E�ibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to acquire a public utility easement from PVJC, LLC, on the above-described tract of
land.
