09/14/2021 Resolutions 2021-227RESOLUTION 2021-227 WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City Of Grand Island has issued a Certificate of Completion for Project No. 2020-AC-1, Asphalt Resurfacing, certifying that Gary Smith Construction Co., Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska, under contract, has completed the asphalt resurfacing in the total amount of $871,743.70; and WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $39,729.88, as detailed below, resulting in a total project cost of $911,473.58; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of the project; and WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City Engineer/Public Works Director. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion, for Project No. 2020-AG1, Asphalt Resurfacing, in the amount of $911,473.58, is hereby confirmed.
